Since this was the cover I got for this book, I loved this cover the best because it’s so beautiful and I just loved the way that the gravestone is in a swirling mist.

Hey everyone! I’m joining in this new book meme called “The Friday Face-Off” which is hosted by Books by Proxy and this week’s theme is: HEART!!!
For this week, since we are a week away from October, I have decided to choose Edgar Allan Poe’s classic tale “The Tell-Tale Heart” in time for Halloween! So here are some covers for this week:
Original Printing – 1843

Creative Education– 1980

This was another tough one this week! All of these covers looked so awesome, but I ended up picking the 1980s version of the cover. So creepy, especially the fact that the character on the cover is actually holding a real heart in his hands and I really loved the red coloring in the background that really brings out the creepy nature of this story!

I’ve chosen the movie cover (the second cover) because it is the most dazzling and creative of the three covers. I loved the way that you have the modern day city on the top of the cover and in the water, you have a castle the reflects the city and I just loved the way that the castle reflects in the water, giving this cover an extremely mysterious yet beautiful feel!

This was a hard choice for me since I loved both covers, but I chose the first cover because it really used the fire in a much more effective way (with the fire swirling underneath the characters) and I just loved the glow coming off the woman on the cover as it gives the cover much more finesse.
