1. Why did you start a blog in the first place?

I’ve started Rabbit Ears Productions Blog because besides the fact that I wanted show off my love for reading, I also wanted to talk about my favorite animation company on this blog since Rabbit Ears Productions is pretty unknown to the internet community and I wanted to make it known again.

2. What is your favourite book?

Oooh…this is a hard one since I have a lot of favorite books!  I guess some of my favorite romance novels are Kiss an Angel by Susan Elizabeth Phillips, It Happened One Autumn by Lisa Kleypas, The Duke and I by Julia Quinn and Blue-Eyed Devil by Lisa Kleypas.

My favorite children’s books are The Fool and the Flying Ship by Eric Metaxas, Where the Wild Things Are by Maurice Sendak, The Cat in the Hat by Dr. Seuss, Outside Over There by Maurice Sendak, and the Stinky Cheese Man and Other Fairly Stupid Tales by Jon Scieszka.

3. What do you dislike the most?

I can’t stand wars and discrimination of other cultures and races.  I’m very tolerant of other cultures and groups and I always think that having diversity in the world is a good thing and I never like it when people harm other people because of how different they are from other people.

4. What is your favourite food item from the mall?

Another tough one since I love a lot of foods from the mall, but some of the food that I like to eat from the mall are subs, Japanese and Chinese Food and Chick-Fil-A!

5. What is your favourite pastime?

Besides reading, I love listening to music, watching and reviewing TV shows and movies and going out to eat!

1. What is your favorite thing about blogging?

What I love about blogging is meeting new people and also giving out my own opinions about a book I’ve read to other people.

2. What are you currently reading?

I’m currently reading “Red Rising” by Pierce Brown and it’s pretty good so far!

3. What is your favorite season?

I really enjoy Winter because Christmas is my most favorite holiday and even if I get cold during winter, at least I have something to cover me up!

4. Who is your ultimate OTP?

I totally ship Lord Westcliff and Lillian from “It Happened One Autumn” by Lisa Kleypas together!

5. Name a book that you reread at least once a year.

I tend to reread “The Fool and the Flying Ship” every year every chance I get!

6. What is your favorite genre?

I usually prefer romance and horror.

7. Do you lend out books?

No, I rarely lend out books to other people.

8. Ebooks, physical book or audiobooks?

Physical books because I would at least have a book that I could take with me or look at whenever I please.

9. What is you least favorite bookish trope?

Love triangles. I can’t stand love triangles especially whenever they are drawn out too long in a story.

10. How did you come up with your blogging name?

I’ve been a huge fan of a children’s company called Rabbit Ears Productions for many years and I wanted a blog name to showed my love for Rabbit Ears!

Currently, I enjoy shows like Steven Universe and the Flash!

1. Would you rather read a novel with a heartbreaking ending or a cliffhanger ending?

I would rather read a novel that has a cliffhanger ending because I really don’t want to cry so much after I read a book.
2. How’s your 2016 going? (wonderful, horrible [i hope not], etc.)

It’s going okay so far. Not much has really happened and I’m hoping some good things happen this year!
3. I like food. So what’s one of your favorite meals?

I always love fried chicken and fried fish!

Hmmm…this is a tough one….I like to drink both, but if I have to choose, I choose tea!
5. What are a few of your go-to book stores (online or in-store)?

I always love going to Barnes and Noble to get my books. But now that Barnes and Nobles is out of business where I live, I now go to 2nd Chance and Charles to get my books.
6. Do you have a favorite classic? If not, give a random fact.

I’ve always enjoyed reading Edgar Allan Poe’s The Raven.  It’s such an interesting and intense book!
7. What’s one place you would like to travel to in the future?

I would love to visit Japan or Jamaica some day!

The song I always love dancing to is the Cha Cha Slide by DJ Casper!

My favorite holiday is Christmas!

I love eating Turkey and Cheesecake!

4. Dish rhymes with fish but this question is unrelated to that. Do you like to wear hats?

Sometimes I like to wear a straw hat on hot days.

5. Unfortunately it’s snowing outside. Do you like that crunchy noise snow makes when you walk on it?

Oh yeah!  It just makes the snow even more enjoyable!

6. 99 is such an odd number. What’s the oddest thing to have recently come to your attention?

Nothing really.

7. Oh! What TV shows are you into these days?

I like to watch Arrow, The Flash, Adventure Time and Steven Universe!

8. You ever wondered why the world looks softer while it snows?

Not really. I just kind of enjoy the weather while it’s there.

9. Is it just me, or does the rustling of leaves in a summer breeze remind you of the ocean?

Actually, it does remind me a bit of the ocean.

10. I know, I know. Weird questions but I’m no good at these. Well, here’s the last: Suppose a crazy god damned you to run in circles around a really happy dolphin for all eternity, how would you break out the loop? You have a shoe, a bat, and a red M&M at your disposal. Every 5 minutes the god sneaks up on you and say Boo! Anything is possible.

1)What made you start blogging?

I started blogging on WordPress because I’ve noticed how many people are not familiar with Rabbit Ears Productions and I wanted to create a blog where I cold interact with people who have also heard of Rabbit Ears Productions.

2)Who are your favourite people?

I love fellow readers like myself and anyone who loves talking about movies, comic books and TV shows in general!

3) Tea or Coffee?

Oh my, this is really hard to choose since I love both!  But, if I had to choose, I would choose coffee!

4) Glass half full or half empty?

Half Full all the time!

5) A wish you want desperately want to come true.

I wish to be really rich someday so that way I could travel around the world and buy all the books I want!

6) A Moment/day you want to freeze, Cause it was so freaking amazing!

When I went to both Stone Mountain and Olympic Park in Atlanta, Georgia.  Man, I had a fantastic time at those two places and I wish that I would go back there someday!

7) A moment/day you wish you could redo.

A day or moment I could redo…man, there’s so many days I want to redo, but maybe a day I could have redo was when I went into college and starting gaining weight due to eating almost most of my college’s food. Seriously, the food at my college was so good that I couldn’t help myself and now I’ve gained so much weight since then!

8) If you could have any superpower, what would it be?

I would love to be able to fly, so that way when I go to work, I wouldn’t have to be caught up in traffic and get to work on time!

9) What else do you do in your free time? Sing? Dance? Draw? Sword Fight? 😉

Besides reading, I love to surf on the internet and exercise!

10) Which is your favourite season? why?

I actually have two favorite seasons which are Summer and Winter.  I love Summer because I can travel to various places during that time and I love Winter because Christmas happens to be around that time!

I am a huge X-Men fan!  My favorite X-Men characters are Wolverine, Storm, and Colossus!

 Is there any spooky incident that happened to you?

Let’s see, when I was little, there was an incident when I was little that I saw my covers become the shape of a twisted monster and this was when I was sleeping in the dark for the first time!  I was so scared about that incident that I slept with the door open until I got a little older!

 

 What’s the story behind your blog name?

I named my blog “Rabbit Ears Productions Blog” because I was a huge fan of this old children’s animated company called “Rabbit Ears Productions” that came out during the 1980s and the 1990s and featured celebrities famous during those times narrating famous children’s stories such as “The Three Little Pigs” and “Paul Bunyan.”  I made this blog because I wanted to discuss about Rabbit Ears Productions with other bloggers who are either interested in knowing more about this company or are fans of this company!

 

 If you could change your hair colour, what would it be?

I would like to change my hair color to red someday!

 

 If you could change your eye colour, what would it be?

I would like to have my eye color become blue!

 

 A quote from a book you are currently reading?

Here’s a quote from “Brown-Eyed Girl” by Lisa Kleypas:

 Which is the latest movie you really enjoyed watching?

I really enjoyed watching the 2014 version of “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles,” even though there were a lot of people who didn’t seem to like that movie.

 Name the thing that is lying on your right side.

I have a can of  Arizona Mucho Mango tea on the right side of my table and I’m drinking it while I’m typing this all down!

 

 Which book would you love to take with you on your next holiday?

I would love to take Andy Weir’s “The Martian” with me on my next holiday!

 Who according to you is the most misunderstood book character?

I think Hardy Cates from Lisa Kleypas’ “Blue-Eyed Devil” is a pretty misunderstood character, due to his actions in the previous book “Sugar Daddy.”

 Who is your favourite book villain?

My favorite book villains are probably Mr. Croup and Mr. Vandemar from Neil Gaiman’s “Neverwhere.” They were some of the creepiest villains I had ever read in any book!

 Which book character would you like to meet in real life?

I definitely would love to meet Daemon Black from Jennifer L. Armentrout’s “Obsidian” in real life!  Who hasn’t met a  sexy alien in real life?

My Story:

I actually started blogging in 2012 with my first book blog Rabbit Ears Book Blog and ever since then, I have been on a blogging spree ever since!  So I started this blog in 2014 (pretty recent) and I wanted to make a website or a blog where Rabbit Ears fans can come together and talk about Rabbit Ears since Rabbit Ears is a company that is rarely known outside of people who grew up with it.  I will continue to host this blog as long as I want to blog!

Some Advice:

• Be creative with your blog!  You want to make your blog stand out from other blogs since there are tons of book blogs out there and they all do book reviews.  I usually try to design my blog in a way that is different from other blogs so that way it would stand out much more easily and everyone would easily know which book blog to check out!
• Keep updating your blog.  Now, I understand that life can get in the way of blogging and there has been many months where I could blog as much as I want to, but I usually try to keep updating my blog every week or so so that way everyone would know that the website is still around.  Even if you only posted one thing that week, it’s better than nothing!
• Have Fun!  Don’t let blogging be a thing where it becomes a chore for you. Let it be a thing that you enjoy the most and communicating with other bloggers is a great way to enjoy the experience of being a blogger!
