Hey everyone! I’m starting a new segment on Animation Bliss called “Rabbit Ears Entertainment” where I go over all the Rabbit Ears related content on Youtube! For this week, we are exploring “East of the Sun West of the Moon!”
Hello everyone! WWW Wednesday is a book meme hosted by Sam @ Taking On a World of Words and you just answer three questions and leave your links down below! Sorry I’ve been missing in action for the last few months, but hopefully I’ll be getting back on track with my reading this time around!
I had decided to put “Our Dark Duet” by Victoria Schwab on hold for awhile and start reading a book that was given to me for a blog tour called “The Agitated Agenda” by Candace N. Ford. So far, this book is really interesting and I can’t wait to read more of this book!
I finally finished reading “This Savage Song” by Victoria Schwaband I LOVED IT!!! I just loved the intense world that Victoria Schwab created and I loved the amount of mystery surrounding each character as the plot twists were quite shocking! I also loved the characters Kate and August as they are not your ordinary protagonists (Kate is an anti hero, August is a monster who wants to be human) and they were probably the most interesting characters in this whole story!
The first book I wanted to read is “Our Dark Duet” by Victoria Schwab. I had just taken a break from reading this book and hopefully I’ll dive back into it as soon as I finish reading “The Agitated Agenda.” The next book I wanted to read is “Illuminae” by Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff. I had owned this book for awhile now and now I’m ready to dive into it! I had just recently picked up a new book written by C.G. Drews called “A Thousand Perfect Notes”and this would be the very first book I actually read that is written by a fellow book blogger (Paper Fury, anyone?) and I can’t wait to dive into this book soon!
Hey everyone! I’m participating in this new meme called “Book Photo Sundays” which is hosted by Rabbit Ears Book Blog and the goal of this meme is to post up whatever book photos you had taken such as photos of your book hauls, library hauls, photos from book conventions or photos of you with a book! You can take the photos from your Instagram, Twitter, Tumblr, or any other account where you keep your book photos!
Here’s my two photos for the week! The first photo is of a book stack that features my favorite book series, which includes Harry Potter, This Savage Song, The Hunger Games, Caraval and Throne of Glass! The second photo is of my copy of “Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark” which has always been my favorite series when I was little!

The next book I wanted to read is “Heartless” by Marissa Meyer, since that has been on my TBR list for awhile now and I wanted to read another book byMarissa Meyer! The last book I wanted to read is of course, “Simon vs. the Homo Sapiens Agenda” by Becky Albertalli, which has been on my shelf for many years now. I especially want to read this book before I watch the movie “Love Simon” soon!
Welcome to The Friday Face-Off, a weekly meme here at Books by Proxy. Join me every Friday as I pit cover against cover, and publisher against publisher, to find the best artwork in our literary universe.
Hey everyone! I’m joining in this new book meme called “The Friday Face-Off” which is hosted by Books by Proxy and this week’s theme is: GRAVESTONE!!!
For this week, I have chosen the cover for Neil Gaiman’s book “The Graveyard Book!” So, here are the covers!
Harper Collins – 2008
Bloomsbury – 2008
William Morrow Paperbacks – 2011
And the winner is…
Since this was the cover I got for this book, I loved this cover the best because it’s so beautiful and I just loved the way that the gravestone is in a swirling mist.

Here’s my two photos for the week! The first photo is of a Stack Saturday book stack that has the Throne of Glass series and the Harry Potter series all rolled into one, along with a nice crown and sword! The second photo is of the purple and white books I have. Unfortunately, I don’t have many purple books, but I’m hoping to remedy that in the near future!

I finally got started on “This Savage Song” by Victoria Schwab, which was a book I’ve been wanting to read for a long time and so far, it’s really interesting and I can’t wait to see what happens with Kate and August next!
I just finished reading Immortal Flame by Jillian David, which was an ARC I received from Reading Alley and I can’t believe I hadn’t read this book when I first got it years ago! It was such a fantastic read and I just loved the world that the characters lived in (such as people working as the devil’s hit men). I also loved both characters Peter and Allison as they had one of the most interesting relationships I had ever seen in a paranormal romance novel!
After I finish reading “This Savage Song,” I’m planning on reading the sequel “Our Dark Duet” by Victoria Schwabto see where Kate and August goes next! The next book I wanted to read is “Heartless” by Marissa Meyer, since that has been on my TBR list for awhile now and I wanted to read another book byMarissa Meyer! I had read this book years ago and I really enjoyed it! I also loved the cover of this book as it shows Mercy Thompson looking so beautiful and tough in this cover!
