Hello everyone! WWW Wednesday is a book meme hosted by Sam @ Taking On a World of Words and you just answer three questions and leave your links down below!  Sorry I’ve been missing in action for the last few months, but hopefully I’ll be getting back on track with my reading this time around!

I just picked up “Shadow of the Fox” by Julie Kagawa and it’s really interesting so far!  I just loved the Japanese mythology going on in this book since I love reading about folklore in general and I can’t wait to see what will happen to the main characters next!

I just finished reading “The Agitated Agenda” by Candace N. Ford and I LOVED IT!!!  I loved the fact that this was an interracial romance  since it’s rare that I read books that deal with interracial romance.  This book also had a nice balance between being a sweet romance while also being tragic.

The first book I wanted to read is “Our Dark Duet” by Victoria Schwab.  I had just taken a break from reading this book and hopefully I’ll dive back into it as soon as I finish reading “The Agitated Agenda.”  The next book I wanted to read is “Illuminae” by Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff.  I had owned this book for awhile now and now I’m ready to dive into it!  I had just recently picked up a new book written by C.G. Drews called “A Thousand Perfect Notes” and this would be the very first book I actually read that is written by a fellow book blogger (Paper Fury, anyone?) and I can’t wait to dive into this book soon!

  1. I hope you like Shadow of the Fox! I really enjoyed it. Read just like an anime to me, and I loved being able to picture everything playing out in my head. 😀 Totally looking forward to the next book.

I just finished Illuminae this week and … ooph. It’s a good one. Can’t recommend it enough, and the formatting was so unique and engaging.

I LOVED A Thousand Perfect Notes, too (and funny enough, my copy of The Boy Who Steals Houses just arrived this afternoon!) The only thing I’d warn of is there’s some really hard-to-read abuse scenes, so be prepared to have all of your feels shattered into a million pieces and then stomped into dust.

    Here’s my WWW post.

    1. Yay! Glad you enjoyed Illuminae and Shadow of the Fox! I’ve been hearing lots of intense things about A Thousand Perfect Notes, but I’m still really excited to read it!
