I just finished reading “The Frog Prince” by Mike Klaassen last week as it was an ARC sent to me by Book Unleashed and I really enjoyed this book!  I loved the fact that it was a more expanded retelling of the original fairy tale and it actually developed the characters extremely well!

I’m still reading Caraval by Stephanie Garber and so far, it’s looking really good, especially once we are getting into the true mystery of Caraval and also look into Donatella’s sudden disappearance on the island.

Monday and Wednesday

In order to get into the spirit of Halloween, I want to read “Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children” by Ransom Riggs since I had that book on my shelf for awhile now and this would be a great book to read for October!  The next book I want to read is “Me Before You” by Jojo Moyes which has been on my shelf for awhile now and I want to read this book before I actually see the movie. The last book I want to read is “The Martian” by Andy Weir since that was the winner of the TBR List book read for September and it’s another book I want to read before watching the movie.

  1. I’ve only just started reading Caraval but people have been on my back about it since it’s been published, haha. I’m only a couple of chapters in, so I have no clue yet whether I’ll like it or not. I am enjoying the letters and such that’ve been incorporated in the story so far though!

    Happy reading ^-^

  2. Good to hear you are enjoying Caraval so far! The Martian is one of my all time favorites and Miss Peregrine’s Home For Peculiar Children is a great read. I hope you will enjoy your books this week and happy reading!
