Hello everyone! WWW Wednesday is a book meme hosted by Sam @ Taking On a World of Words and you just answer three questions and leave your links down below!

Wicked Intentions by Elizabeth Hoyt is one of my recent reads through NetGalley and even though I haven’t quite started it yet (been kind of busy these last few days), I’m still interested in checking it out especially since it’s been a while since I had read a historical romance novel!

I just finished Alice by Christina Henry and I was quite surprised that I ended up loving it!  I just loved the dark and twisted take it did on “Alice in Wonderland” and this is easily the darkest and grimmest version of the tale I had checked out yet!  A bit of a warning for anyone who wants to read this book: this book has strong rape scenes and violence and I was disgusted with the rape scenes, even though I still ended up loving this book.

Dark Triumph by Robin LaFevers and Simon vs the Homo Sapiens by Becky Albertalli are two books that are still on my TBR list and I really want to read those two books as soon as possible!  Throne of Glass by Sarah J. Maas was the winner for my TBR book of the month for January and I’m really excited to check that book out!

Why You Should Check Out Rabbit Ears Entertainment

Hey everyone!  I just wanted to talk about one of my most favorite children’s companies Rabbit Ears Entertainment! Now, Rabbit Ears Entertainment (or Rabbit Ears Productions as it was formally known as) is not that well known among both the movie and the literature crowd, which is a bit upsetting seeing how how high quality the stories, the artwork and the narrations are for this series.  So, I would like to list the reasons why you should check this series out.1. The Narrators Even though this series was around mostly during the 1980s and the 1990s, the draw of this series was that the stories would be narrated by celebrities who were popular during the 1980s and the 1990s such as Denzel Washington, Robin Williams, Danny Glover, Geena Davis, Whoopi Goldberg and Jack Nicholson.  The fact that the celebrity narrators gave so much vigor in their storytelling really made this series worth watching and listening to!2. The Music Just like the celebrity narrators, there were also various musicians and singers who were popular during the 1980s and 1990s who were providing the music for the stories such as UB40, Art Lande, Bobby McFerrin and Lyle Mays.3. The artwork The artwork in this series is extremely varied and there is a lot to choose from such as smooth and beautiful artwork that portrays the seriousness of the story and wacky artwork that portrays the hilarious nature of the story.4. The storiesIf you enjoy reading folktales and fairy tales, this series definitely offers many fairy tales that you could check out such as The Three Little Pigs, East of the Sun West of the Moon, The Fool and the Flying Ship, Anansi and How the Camel Got His Hump. So, are you interested in checking out the Rabbit Ears Entertainment series?  You can check out the series through their website or through Amazon!
