Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Books and a Beat. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:
• Grab your current read
• Open to a random page
• Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
• BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
• Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

Publisher: Rabbit Ears Books
Genre: Animals, Humor, Folktale
Reading Level: Children
That Brer Rabbit was the backsassin’est critter in ten counties and it got so Brer Fox just couldn’t bear it another second. And that’s why he stirred himslef up a sticky, gooey Tar Baby, and left it on a log for Brer Rabbit to run smack into. A whimsical book for kids. Illustrated in full color.
“But sooner or later, Brer Fox up and decided that he had about all he could take of Brer Rabbit’s sass and he figured out a clever plan, whereby he get Brer Rabbit back once and for all.”
This story is quite enjoyable so far, although I’m not sure that the illustrations would fit with this type of story.
